Nonlocality is one of the fundamental characteristics of quantum mechanics, which is also an indispensable resource for many important quantum information processing tasks. As a kind of resource, the detection and quantification of quantum nonlocality is of practical importance. This talk will be presented in three-fold. First, I will introduce the background and preliminaries of quantum information. Second, I will present the general definition of nonlocality and the corresponding scenario. Third, I will report recent progress we achieved in the detection and quantification of quantum nonlocality.

讲座人简介: Zhaofeng Su received a Bachelor of Engineering in Software Engineering from Wuhan University in 2012. He pursues PhD at University of Technology Sydney in 2018 which is jointly supported by State Scholarship of China and International Research Scholarship of Australian. His research interest is quantum computation and quantum information which includes quantum nonlocality, quantum entanglement, quantum repeaters and quantum artificial intelligence.
